SURFACE SWIMMING

1645 hrs to 1900 hrs

The SFTA Surface Swimming Sessions are designed to teach proper swimming technique for 6 different strokes (3 with fins), learning how to pace yourself, swim long distances, speed and recovery. The member starts at his/her current swimming/fitness level and learns how to safely improve.

Calisthenics will be inserted throughout the training sessions. 

Primary Equipment: Goggles, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Heart Rate Monitor (highly encouraged), shorts and t-shirt, towel and a gallon of water. *Bring all equipment to all training sessions. Pool Fee $4.00

HILL TRAINING

1645 hrs to 1900 hrs

The SFTA M3T Hill Run Training Sessions are designed to teach proper running technique on elevated and depressed terrain, how to pace yourself, run long distances, speed and recovery. The member starts at his/her current running/fitness level and learns how to safely improve.

Calisthenics will be inserted throughout the training sessions.

Primary Equipment: Heart Rate Monitor (highly encouraged), shorts and t-shirt, towel and a gallon of water. *Bring all equipment to all training sessions.

WATER CONFIDENCE

1645 hrs to 2000 hrs

The SFTA Water Confidence Training Sessions are designed to teach proper water confidence and pacing techniques, watercon evolution exposure, speed and recovery. The member starts at his/her current water confidence fitness level and learns how to safely improve.

Calisthenics will be inserted throughout the training sessions.

Primary Equipment: Goggles, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Rope, Heart Rate Monitor (highly encouraged), shorts and t-shirt, towel and a gallon of water. *Bring all equipment to all training sessions. *Pool Fee $4.00
